this is amazing, i love it to death. it has such a sense of volume, the curving lines are so - forceful? i don't know what i'm saying, i just really enjoy this and i'm glad to see that you are in fact alive.

following the contour of the face to create values is so hard, I have no Idea how people do it effectivly. Odd features, kinda creepy and very nice. I especially enjoy the shapes following the outsides of those huge eyes.

you know - the bastards at deviant have not shown me anything of yours since "of past defeats" --
btw - you're new icon threw me for a loop... i read your remarks and thought, "who is dis kid? he's almost as smart as old free..."
this piece is remarkably striking, and the pen work has a kind of fiteenth century dutch or northern quality, to be painfully precise, which is extremely appealing... it reminds me a bit, as well of some of dureers stuff, -- i am thinking of one woodcut in particular, a beautiful self portrait printed and portrayed through a line which is a single spiral of altering weight...
as for your kind remarks -- it is strange that the tension seems to fade in the landscapes, or at least in those landscapes... i must try to give them as much character as the others... i sense, still, that they are slightly banal...
