Naaaaah -- just didn't want to forget to fave it cause i had to step into a meeting... every time i log on, just remember i'm balancing life as an executive with life as a critic...
allorrrrrrrrra (so).... the key here, i think is that strange, uncanny and very evocative and unnatural thrust of neck and head from the shoulder blades to rest in the crook of the arm... it gives this a sense of repose, but a highly agitated and uncomfortable repose... a sort of visual paradox which creeps up on us unaware and gives us that back-of-the-mind feeling that something ain't quite right ... something like the nagging thought in the middle of the party, that one may have left the gas on at home... Beyond that the stony blue, scribbled black lines and moon-like sheen of light compliment the false serenity nicely. hats off, sah. i bleeve i've now explained mahself.

wow. this is a great piece. the strong lines and dark portions really bring it all together. the expression and the distortion combined really give the image a heavy, sinking feeling.

To me, this feels like a time of coldness and humility. In my emotional library, I am taken to the time of the Holocaust(sp?) or maybe a long journey of some kind with many spiritual and physical adversities. Beautiful.
