For me, this was one of the saddest times for drawing. Two weeks ago, one of my favorite actors passed away. Someone who I grew up with as a child, watching his movies all the time. That person was Robin Williams. He knew exactly how to make me laugh. I would just watch Flubber, Aladdin, or Mrs. Doubtfire and be laughing up a storm. He was just one of those types of people who would light up a room if it was dark. I would watch anything with him in it, even if it was just an appearance on a show. I wanted to make this tribute to him, along with tons of other people, because he was just a special person. I drew him as the Genie from Disney's Aladdin. Robin was a major part of my childhood, and I feel that now there is an empty space because I lost one of my favorite actors. RIP Robin Williams, you will be greatly missed. "Genie, you're free."
