A tribute to a game that I recently.. stopped playing. Guildwars 2! Not exactly lore-accurate gear, but its the closest set I could find.. plus, I guess this was a chance for me to express my dissatisfaction at the conservatism of the armor design in-game
The render is meant to depict not the current guildwars, but the guidwars two years from now, when I will probably have a Canthan elementalist traveling through Elona. (Elona is an Arabic/middle eastern themed area, and Cantha is sort of an imperial China.)
Have you been playing Guildwars2? Excited for the expansions? I am!

They didnt openly say that those 2 would be the expansion areas but the story for both those continents have been laid out in a lot of detail so we can be pretty sure at least one of them will be coming. Im a huge fan of expansive deserts and lush oasis in games, but Im also asian and inexplicably compelled to like asian places/themes.. so im a bit torn. Either Cantha or Elona would be a huge treat for sure.

Elona was beautiful... it was certainly a treat for the eyes... especial in and around Kamadan and places like Sebhorin... but Cantha and Shing Jea island are by far my most favorite... i LOOOVE Shing Jea and some days i sign into GW one jus to walk around Shing Jea... bring that and places like Kaineng center into the present with all the new graphics theyve developed and i will jus... explode lol

Its fun stuff, if youve got any interest in games you owe it to yourself to try! No Davidsons in there though, sadly.
