Since I am officially beginning work on my graphic novel, I thought I'd leave this here. This is intended to be an information master-post on my upcoming story, 'Love is War', which I have been working on since July 2015. Currently, development on this story has been continuing steadily, and I predict that the first book should be finished any time between May 2018 and September 2019, but this is only an approximation; it could be even earlier or even later.
If you have a question, comment it below! I'll do my best to answer all questions (unless the answer contains spoilers or content that has yet to be determined).

Small towns tend to be ridden with crime and fear, and the city Tex Ackerman calls home is no different. In a town where people are beaten up on the street by enemies, ex-lovers, and even strangers, it would seem to be hard to find love. In spite of this, Tex finds solace in his two newest and closest friends--Marcus, a loud, confident young man with a knack for making trouble and Rowan, his quiet, subdued, devout polar opposite. While navigating developing feelings, the impending shadow of medical school entrance exams, and a rekindled desperation to find his father, Tex finds himself digging deeper and deeper into the darkness of their hearts in an attempt to help them. But how far can Tex go before he is forced to confront his own emotional scars? And how deep have they truly run?

This story is rated 15+; however, please be advised that there are several more mature themes and topics present through the story. They are described below.
This story, though appearing light at first glance, covers many serious topics such as physical abuse, abandonment, child neglect, emotional manipulation, mental illness, suicide, physical violence, rape/non-consensual sex and sexual assault/harrassment. As these topics will be visited extensively throughout the story, you are advised to refrain from reading if you are sensitive to these subjects.
There is a mild language warning, as several characters are prone to cursing extensively, and there is also a slight gore warning, as several scenes involve depictions of physical violence. There will be a few conversations of a lewd nature, as well as implied sexual encounters, but no sex/nudity is explicitly shown, as several of the main characters are under 18.

Will I be able to read the story on your DeviantART page?I would rather not post the story on DeviantART, but I will probably make it available as a webcomic on Tapas.io or Tumblr, or possibly create my own site. I will provide a URL once the story is released.

I have writing/drawing skills; can I be on your creative team?At this point, I'd like to have complete creative freedom over the story and art, so, no. But maybe in the future, I'll request some help, or offer a contest or two, where the prize is a few published pages in the book.
Will a Kickstarter or trailer be released?I have planned to make a trailer, but not yet, as I want to have a decent amount of story written down before I produce it. A Kickstarter will probably be released eventually, but that will be far into the future.
How can I support this story?Currently, I am not accepting money or funds for the story, but the easiest way to help support it is to tell people about it! If you like the way it turns out, consider leaving a review of it or doing something of the like. I love seeing fanart, too ^w^
How long do you think the first book will be when it is finished? I'm not completely sure yet, but I'm predicting it will be somewhere around 250-350 pages in length. Each chapter, according to my plotting, will be between 20-30 pages, and I've planned for about 25-30 chapters.
Will you draw the characters in this story sometime?Yeah! I'll periodically upload images from the story to generate excitement for the story.
When do you think the first chapter will happen?
I still have not decided, but I hope I will have the first chapter completed and posted by May.

At this point in time, I am finalizing my writing and preparing thumbnails.

I have a few questions to ask.
1. How long do you think the first book will be when it is finished? Judging from your target audience you don't want to make it too long or too short. Anywhere from 120-300 pages is a good length for a lot of people.
2. Will you draw the characters in this story sometime? You may have drawn them in the past but I think it'd be nice to see how you imagine them currently.
3. I was wondering if you would be able to do a point commission for me when you are available. I don't want to bother you now since I know they are closed, but I wanted to ask for a point commission earlier but I wasn't able to then.
4. I'll definitely comment and give feedback when chapters are seen ^^ When do you think the first chapter will happen?

1. I'm not completely sure yet, as plotting still needs to be done, but I'm predicting it will be somewhere around 250 pages in length.
2.Yeah! I'll periodically upload images from the story to generate excitement (??) for the story. I have an official promotion image I'm currently hard at work on, but it'll probably be another month before it's finished. That said, yes, I will draw them. ^^
3. I'm not currently accepting commissions, as I still have a lot of work on my back (I'm juggling four other commissions, my story, helping my friend on HER comic, and school on top of that ;-; ). But when commissions do open up again, I'll let you know 
4. Hoo boy...I honestly don't know. With all the plotting that needs to happen, and as much of the story as I still need to plan out by the end of May, it may be uploaded sometime in September. (I'd like to have a decent portion of the pages finished before I upload the first chapter to allow me time to edit if I see mistakes.)
