She does it,But..
She doesn't want to.
Does she?
She feels like she needs to.
Its compulsive, addictive.
Just another part of the day.
But its not. It shouldn't be.
Oh, look what she's done.
The skin is marred,
Forever tainted.
See those purple marks?
All the way up to the elbow.
How far will this go?
Don't you know,
Its really a cry.
All she wants is help.
Help Me
All she wants
Is for someone
To reach out to her.
To ask her if she is okay.
Are you okay?
I'm fine.
She's not okay.
She is slowly dying.
In the dark corners of her bedroom,
She is quietly crying.
Shh.. it'll be okay
Is anyone listening?
Can't anyone see?
She's begging,
Although not with her lips.
It is silent.
She is pleading.
Please, please..
She doesn't want
To slowly waste away
She wants you to take her
Into the circle of your comforting arms,
And use them in turn
To Write Love On Her Arms.

A really great poem full of intense emotions which are very well explained.
This poem gives me a feel of a person being abused in hr own home... not feeling safe and not feeling loved... yet somehow, although the wil power to do something about it has died, she still wants to find help..... help if someone can notice....
