Description
His coat is essentially the image file the ransomware puts into every single folder it accesses as it infects a system. I designed him so simply because the thing he is based on doesn't deserve something fancy but rather awareness spread so we can all better protect our devices from it. I wanted his name to have some functional meaning like the ones that use japanese puns so his name starts with the Kaito k and replaces the c in the word crypt and then ends the o at the end. Ransomeware is dangerous and very important to protect your files from. I use external harddrives and some cloud storage for file backups and have layers of redundency. My mmd backup is 40gb on its own. I also use malwarebytes which comes with ransomeware protection built in. As mentioned before as I continue to write my story he will be mentioned in a chapter for sure.
