Just because I'd never done one. And now I am pleased.800th deviation! Yay.
Fluttershy: I don't imagine that because she's shy she's necessarily self-conscious, so I feel she'd wear pretty, feminine clothes that show off her figure nicely. She's third tallest.
Rarity: She's the tallest one in my head, and obvs classy and glamorous.
Pinkie Pie: Couldn't decide about the weight issue, so she's a little chubby. It suits her I think. She's the shortest.
Twilight Sparkle: Uhhh... not much to say with her. She's fifth tallest.
Applejack: Skinny, fit farmgirl with strong legs. That's all. She's fourth tallest.
Rainbow Dash: Athletic (duh) and very angular. She has sharp features and isn't terribly feminine. She's second tallest.
Things I'm not so happy with (that I could change but I can't be bothered right now):
- Fluttersy's shirt is too acidic.
- Rarity's shirt-ruffles are so lazy, and I'm a little diappointed with myself for that.
- I didn't find a novel way of including Pinkie Pie's cutie mark, and in the end I just completely forgot it.
- Twilight's hair should be messier.
- Applejack looks too laid-back and not up-and-at-em enough.
That's it. I'm quite pleased with Rainbow Dash.
Edit: Aw man I forgot to draw loose hair strands. I'm also aware that some of the heights don't really add up, but that's just lack of attention on my part.
Haha I can't believe that on Ponibooru people are calling me racist. Are people really that stupid?

Fluttershy's cute as a button; you're the only one I've seen put her in a miniskirt!Ā And Twi's face is priceless.
Thought I'd throw in my two cents about how I see them.
Twilight: Average height or just below average, 5'06" or so.Ā I figure since she's studied a lot, she knows how important physical fitness is, and exercises to keep herself in shape.Ā Not too athletic, though.Ā Dresses either casually, in polos, jeans, and sneakers, or like she's in a private school, in button-up shirts, ties, vests, knee-length skirts, kneesocks or tights, and loafers.Ā If I did anything concerning sub-races of humans, Twilight would be an elf, with pointed ears to show her affinity for magic.
Applejack: One of my personal favorites, she's above average in height, about 5'09", and has the largest breasts of the group, both owing to her alleged massive appetite as a child.Ā Despite all she ate, farmwork has kept her physique toned, as well as tanned her skin a bit.Ā She tends to wear flannel shirts over white T-shirts or tank tops, boot-cut jeans, and almost always has her cowboy boots on.Ā And don't forget the hat!
Rainbow Dash: I, like a lot of people probably, see her as the shortest, at 5'03".Ā And she has small breasts.Ā Despite this, if I did the three pony races thing and gave Rainbow wings, these would only make her better at flying.Ā She is tan, owing to being from Brazil, and also because of her Brazilian heritage she loves soccer.Ā She usually dresses in athletic clothes, but will readily wear skinny jeans.
Rarity: She'd be fairly tall at 5'09", and have the second-largest breasts of the group.Ā She'd also have pointed ears, like Twilight.Ā Out of the Mane 6, she's most likely to be dark-skinned.Ā Yes, she still has the accent! XDĀ She has a wide variety of clothing, from blouses and loose, trendy skirts to simple T-shirts and jeans.Ā She'd prefer flats over athletic shoes, though she does own a couple pairs.
Fluttershy: She's the tallest in my head at 5'11", owing to her lanky figure seen in "Cutie Mark Chronicles", and has fairly large breasts despite a thin build.Ā At one point she might have had braces to fix large front teeth.Ā She would also have wings if I went that far, and light skin since she prefers to spend time indoors.Ā She usually wears sundresses and flats, with tights in the winter, but does have some jeans and Converses.
Pinkie Pie:Ā This one might be odd.Ā I see her almost as short as Rainbow, call it 5'04", with light skin and either a thin frame or slightly chubby.Ā I don't want to make her too fat because of her time on the rock farm, though I know how quickly bodies can change...Ā This is the weird part: my headcanon is Perky Goth Pinkie.Ā I see her wearing cute pleated skirts, stockings, combat boots, gloves, and maybe even corset tops.
So yeah, that's my thoughts on the Mane Six humanized.Ā Yours look great, too, so good job on that.

That's really cool! I love hearing other people's interpretations of the ponies. There are so many variations that I wouldn't mind giving them another go; I know I'd make Applejack a bit bulkier, and Pinkie Pie a bit softer looking.

Yep, well that's an equally legitimate way of seeing them. I didn't really put much thought it how old they were. I just wanted to try and humanise them as accurately as I felt they would look.

Ah the whole racism issue on humanised ponies is stupid. People have their own interpretations and then others like to feel morally superior by criticising. If an artist sees the human!ponies as white, black, asian, hispanic, mixed or whatever, there's always going to be someone who nitpicks.
