I again snuck into OliverBPhotography 's gallery and saw this scheming, evil looking Grey heron... it reminded me of a "boss" I had when working the busses (no wordpun intended I was but a simple busdriver xD ) who's greatest sadistic pleasure was seeing people suffer so she would always be on the lookout for someone to tear down and critisize just for the heck of it. Was stuck in her clutches for almost 2 years and just like a defenseless lonely tiny rabbit I was torn to pieces, and she had her fun while I was at my lowest point.
So this heron with those evil eyes, lurking for an easy prey, it just inspired me. The bird (contrairy to the beforementioned "boss" ) is still a beautiful sight to behold... so I grabbed some black paper and my trusted museum aquarelle and just let the feels take over. Drawing is so theraputic!
I'll take a moment to NOT recommend PaintON A5 205 g/m2 black drawing / painting / multitechnique paper. How could this paper possibly be advertised as withstanding paint, when the colored pencils can only get in 2 layers on top of each other before a layer of the paper is simply destroyed? I went through in several places and had to cover it up with pen! I got really mad about that. There are other colors of paper in the same bunch, and I'll soon be trying out the "natural" colored one to see if it's just the black sheets that are so lousy. Rant over.
