i really like the strong contrast between the white of the snow and the branch. however my eye keeps getting distracted by the foot prints that head out of the frame.

Ah you mean on the right eh? It's actually the drive way, which was uneven and had a few small frozen puddles that look like footprints.. maybe I'll try to blur them or something, make em less obvious..

I'd use the clone to and just replicate the surrounding snow since it's all ready extremely bright I doubt theres much tone difference and the edit wouldn't be obvious.

Beautiful, I love the contrast of the tree against the all white background. The fact that the top of the tree almost blends into the sky is really cool!

I love the black and white of this picture. I really cant stand white borders around overly white pictures I think a Black border would have been better. That is just my opinion. Nice shot and I am glad that you shared it.

I love the high contrast here, it really accents the snow and its natural glow. Was this done in a darkroom by chance or did you up the contrast on adobe?

it's basically a free version of Photoshop, but it's not as advanced. not as good as PS, but it does the trick. it's what i've used for all my recent manipulations, and general photo touch-ups
