Count Veladis Ran’urr, one of the most recognizable counts of Cybertron, who had secretly gone up the ranks thanks to his ability to manipulate different frequencies, that he trained to such an extent that he could manipulate other bots, causing him to be known by his enemies as Mindwipe.
Veladis has a thing for the creatures of the dark, as he finds fascinatino how a creature can survive without a light guide them, with that being the reason he chose a Bat as his alt mode on earth.
He wasn’t born a person of power though. He was born in o poor orphanage that forced him to resort to cheap tactics to survive. For that reason, he became obsessed with gaining wealth and power, and thanks to his sonic powers, he slowly and discreetly climbed up the ranks until becoming a count of Cybertron.
With the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, he saw a new opportunity to gain power. He made a plan about helping the Decepticons destroy the Autobots to gain Megatron’s trust, and slowly start to manipulate him until he had total control over the cons without anybody noticing, until he was stopped by Soundwave, who thanks to his own sonic powers, was able to disrupt his mind controlling frequencies and destroy Mindwipe for good.

I shall call this part of the story: the Mind Games arc.

Mindwipe’s design is just his G1 self but adapted to my style, except for the head, which is based on Ben 10’s Whampire. I also imagine him having some kind vampire accent (If anyone knows what that accent is called and where it’s from, I’d be happy to know)
