I'd love it if they did this on the show. Ever since the CMC got their cutie marks back in Season 5, she pretty much stopped having a role, and has instead been limited to background cameos.

Oh, well, it's the constant problem of the show. Too many characters and too little time. I'm afraid there's not much use for her after she stopped being bully so unless the writers come up with story where she could benefit evolution of the mane characters I'm afraid she'll be put into background

Well, it could be useful for the CMC to have a rich friend, as she would have some financial pull for future projects. Just because she's no longer a bully, that doesn't mean she can no longer be a purposeful character.
