Now, this is one of those more reflective images that I ended up doing. This is another image for the Multi Picture Project and once again I end up in familiar territory (though not quite familiar enough to have drawn this stated character several times before).

The whole idea of breathing once again makes me think of the idea of resurfacing from beneath the water after holding your breath down there for so long. It's like a refreshing of yourself as a living being.

The kind of refreshing links towards The Legend of Spyro's Cynder - the main adversary for A New Beginning, she ended up being given the chance to redeem herself after being freed from the Dark Master's grasp. I drew her adult form in the Dark part of the MPP, but her younger form still needed means of a challenge to be put in.

The kind of floaty feel to her posture was a heck of a challenge, especially with her being placed side-on like this, but it certainly helped to bring out some of the moodier overtones to the image at the same time. And the towing in of lighter blues in comparison to the moodier ones in the Dark picture seems to signify more of a lighter side starting to show upon her, trying to free her from the unfortunate past that she has had. This image was primarily about meaning above all, and I'm really glad I managed to put it across.

Now that I'm here, I can't wait until Dawn of the Dragon comes out! Except, once again I'd be enduring a Christmas wait while everyone in the States will be getting it next week. Once again it sucks to be British.
