Description
This is an entry for the contest: mrs-durden.deviantart.com/jourβ¦All the days this week I had no time for drawing...Today I was burned out of all the work I had to do. So, for creating something and for not turning insane I decided to do something I would be able to finish and combine with the contest - and chose 'darkness' and ink.
It took me about 2h, and is (but I first recognized this after I drew it) inspired by Giger, I guess.

Your work seems to trigger emotions and feelings. This piece made my eyes sting with tears, but not crying. All I can describe is that it invokes what is said in 46&2 by Tool. That work to move through one's own shadows. π¦

Tool is one of my favorite bands. Especially Aenima, when i'm moving stuff out of my subconscious to be seen. Your works like this one are thought provoking in all the best ways. π Even ones that aren't similar to this one. I find many of your artworks to be that for me. Thought provoking. Although I really enjoy Tool's music, I have no album of them by myself....this is definitely something I still have to catch up on. My dad showed me there music when I was younger, so I've got some old memories with it.

Very creepy and unnerving! Reminiscent of something from a nightmare or maybe a horror game (in my eyes at least!), but still very much intriguing.
