Description

Gorlim was part of Barahir's outlaws, Beren's father.

Not knowing about his wife's fate, he returned to his old house...followed by Morgoth's spies. When he came there one day, he thought to see his wife Eilinel, weeping alone. He wished more than ever being reunited with her, and when he got captured by Sauron's troops and he offered him to bring him and his wife back together, Gorlim told where Barahir's people were hidden. Sauron laughed at the traitor, because Eilinel was dead for years - and they killed Gorlim.

Gorlim's wraith appeared to Beren who had been on an errand, telling him what he had done and that he would need to warn his father, but it was too late.
