Description
This picture came from whilst I was thinking of how to depict the environment of the reworking of 'Willow And Timothy', and the result was the squirrel twins Russ and Reg trying to evade the cops. Yep, the twins are back to their good old ways - unethical and devious! But they're not evil either
The setting is once again the ficticious Santa Feral, California, which is based on the real life cities of Los Angeles and San Diego. If anybody is curious, the twins' car is a 1967 Plymouth GTX.

I think he uses references too, I tend to use references as well if I am drawing cars by hand.

Yeah, but Jay doesn't trace. If I want to draw a scene with a car, I have to find a picture of that car and print it out, trace the car to a new sheet of paper, and base my picture around the angle the photo of the car was taken at.

well theres sanme games like this. this 1 remine me of a ps1 game, where you pess to hlep the bad guys hlep them get away like this art work right here, but in nomaly moed like, your noting doing noting you just get to go arode town looking at how well they did it you know. they did that to show how well they try to pess the ps1 how far game paly and art work it can be done, the game play well the thing is that this it you just hlep bad guys get away form the cops and like, diver like carzy form them lik, if you see a buleding what you do? stop? NO you go a haed and jump over it are diver fer it. so this how the game work

Nice details on the car, I'm not a real petrolhead but *phowar* is the only thing I can say, and it isnt even a real word! Also nice use of a photograph for the background.
Incidentally, if you ever need photos of LA and SoCal for backgrounds I've got a few lurking around my HD somewhere from my trip across the States last year.

I loved my Matchbox cars too, though mainly as target practice for my toy tanks
