First of all lets talk about the idea. You know I read critiques and they skip over the fact that the image is a poor or great vision. This vision is great! It calls you back and says look at me again. It's fun because the character is bubbling with personality. Now you made the background and the subject with the same mood wich further enhances the fact she is part of something and has a choice to be good or bad. The style is provocative in that while you feel the subject has restraints yet the image itself is unrestrained and departs over and over again from what is expected. It's wild and crazy and original and I love it.

Color and tone help to convey the mood of your work. I wouldn't call it dull and boring; more pensive, or serious. Reflective. Color and tone can convey weight or lightness. Gestalt Psychology is interesting when it comes to how your brain perceives different colors and tones. Your perspective and shading need a little practice if you are going for more realism, but I don't see that being a problem for you. I think the face and hair are great, along with the grungy type atmosphere. The concept is strong and well executed and all the elements of the image work together and compliment each other. So keep up the good work!

Well I'm not a premium member, so I can't critique you (boo!) but I will say that the piece is lovely, the one thing I feel it needs is a little more contrast. It would be nice to have a little more depth throughout the work- like your other pieces 'you jelly?' & 'lady in tears' n__n! Hope I was helpful.
