This one has taken me forever to finish, over a month D: I was originally inspired by this piece by Zolaida (mainly the pose) but didn't know exactly in what direction I wanted to go in. I revisited her piece again recently and decided to experiment a lot with values and stuff and this is how it turned out! I'm a long time big fan of Zolaida and I'm happy she could inspire me to create this, I'm very pleased with it.
I'm extra proud of this because I wanted to challenge myself with my nemesis angle, face from below! It's my first time successfully pulling it off and I learned sooo much from this. Also used myself as reference, and while this looks nothing like me the nose is basically my own which I really like. I always try to leave a piece of myself in my paintings, usually more emotionally than literally but this time it has a bit of me in it
