Vraag: gaelic en nederlands zijn twee totaal verschillende talen, vanwaar deze uitzonderlijke combinatie ? Hoe dan ook: een hele mooie tekening ^^

Da's eigenlijk heel toevallig. De uitgeverij gaat elk jaar met een stand naar Bologna, naar de internationale kinderboekenbeurs. Daar zit zowat heel de wereld samen om naar mekaars boeken te kijken, om buitenlands aan te kopen en te verkopen. En daar heeft een Ierse uitgever zijn oog laten vallen op Mauw en Mol.
Om je een idee te geven: een andere reeks boekjes van de uitgever is vertaald in Koreaans, Portugees en Engels, dus het kan zowat alle kanten op.
