Description
One of a set of 4 Newyear's letters made for Belgian publisher Abimo. A Newyear's letter is a typical Belgian, even Flemish phenomenon, basically children write a special letter for parents, grandparents or godfather/mother to wish them the best for the new year. The letters are written in school, starting in the first grade, when children first learn to write. Mostly they write cute little verses selected by the teachers
My illustration is a combo of watercolour, ecoline and a bit of Photoshop
