Description
This is a 1/144 scale model of a Mig-21Bis belonging to the 1st squadron of the Croatian air force.
Originally I bought this so I could convert it to be a Syrian Mig-21bis (Specifically that belonging to Adel Al Zia, story here: www.deviantart.com/friend711/a… ), but after a while I decided it was best to just make a normal one since I didn't want to waste the Croatian decors.
I am planning on getting another one of this model and once I get that I am thinking of using that models decor to make a ww2 era ISC air force MC.202 forgole.

・The ultimate development of the MiG-21, fitted with the Tumanskiy R25-300 turbojet engine and a great number of other advances over previous types. Those MiG-21bis for the Soviet PVO (Air Defense Force) were equipped with the Lazur GCI system (NATO: "Fishbed-L"), while those for the Soviet Air Force were fitted with the Polyot ILS system (NATO: "Fishbed-N").
・Lazur-equipped version with a slightly different avionics package exported to some Warsaw Pact countries. In Bulgaria and East Germany these were designated　MiG-21bis-Lazur.
・Polyot-equipped version with a slightly different avionics package exported to some Warsaw Pact countries. In Bulgaria and East Germany these were designated MiG-21bis-SAU (SAU referring to Sistema Avtomaticheskovo Upravleniya = "Automatic Control System"). This variant was manufactured under license by HAL in India from 1980 to 1987.

・23mm GSL-23L x1 (200)
・4 hard points total load of 1300kg
・AAMx4 of K-13M、K-13、K-13R、R-60 or R-60M (AAM: Air-to-Air Missile)
・57mm rocket pods (S-5 rockets)
or
・240mm rocket pods (S-24 rockets)

・500kg bombs x2 or 250kg bombs x2
