Description
First off, i would like to thank and lance tan for the very wonderful copic markers given to me on my birthday!For that i promised them a drawing that will be making with the markers.
Wonder: To feel doubt and curiosity; to wait with uncertain expectation; to query in the mind; as, he wondered why they came.
The main focus of this work is humanity's wondering. Humans are a naturally curious race. We tend to ask a lot of questions and try to understand everything that is around us. How can we achieve world peace? What is the origin of the world? Is there really a difference between good and bad...or is it just a difference between points of view? What is the purpose of life when in the end...we just die?
What is interesting to me is the different ways each human being answers these unexplainable questions. We rely on different morals, cultures, ideals and beliefs to to make life more explainable.

I used references on the woman's posture, the flowers (mainly different kinds of lilacs) and the birds.
Done with: copic markers and white acrylic paint.

Beautiful colors and concept. I like the energy in it that's contrasted with her contemplation. The few parts that snag me: Her leg seems misshaped or lumpy from what I see. The top of the image is distracting; I kept thinking there was something written there, and once I was sure that wasn't letters up there, I couldn't tell what it was supposed to be - white and yellow sky? Odd.
