Through regretting the actions we've done in the past or to wish in being able to re-do it again, in order to correct it, we hurt ourselves. But in hurting ourselves, we may unintentionally hurt others too.
Johnny Cash, when we made a cover of the song (originally done by Nine Inch Nails), certainly didn't feel like he was worthy of anything that he possessed. Hence, "You can have it all, my empire of dirt". Especially because of after all he's gone through (and losing his friends and wife). "Everyone I know goes away, in the end". People still saw him as an inspiration or an idol though, regardless of what he thought of himself.
Haha, sorry for rambling off on what he was trying to express, but I think it definitely reflects on this artwork of yours. It's symbolic to the messages he's brought out and/or the experiences you've had. Maybe even to how you feel about things or yourself. And wow, the tone of this really contrasts with the bright and colorful stuff you've been doing lately. (Not a bad thing! )
Well it's great being able to express a... sense of relief in yourself, and to get some burden off your chest. Sure feels wonderful. c:
Dick sure feels hurt. cc:

Hey man, sorry I never replied to this! I get distracted sometimes and it's easy to forget to get back to people but this made me smile really big, I think you should know. I feel like what you said is definitely what I was going for, and I'm glad I got that across <:3
It does feel wonderful. It's always nice to shock people who watch me for my toony art with glum things like this too, haha. Thanks for the comment man!
