Description "Hey You, don't help them to bury the light ."

So, last weekend I got super stoned and I decided to watch Pink Floyd's "The Wall." At first, I didn't understand it other than it seemed to be really deep but I couldn't figure out the symbolism. I decided to mull over it when I was a little more sober, and I realized just how much I can relate to the film on a personal level. So, I'm kind of hooked on Pink Floyd now. This is an image borne of that same obsession, based around the line "and the worms ate into his brain" from "Hey you."

This'll be in a sketchbook that I'll be selling sometime around next month, so if you like it then you might have the chance to own the original wooaah

Pink Floyd is AMAZING. I tried to find the symbolism, too; it was rather backy forthy. Like dreams are.

I agree. When I read into the symbolism, what I got from it was that due to the death of the protagonists father, his consequentially overbearing mother, and his dick schoolmaster, he began to build a wall of social isolation to shield himself from the losses of life, hence "the wall." Each shitty experience was like another brick in his "wall," until at the end of the movie it's complete and he goes batshit crazy, causing him to hallucinate his "trial" in which his inner self tells him to "tear down the wall"

when he tears down his "wall"... well, that's the end of the movie, though there's a line at the very end that says "Isn't this where..." and when the movie//album starts off, it starts off where the last track left off (exact same music and everything) and says "... we came in?" implying a vicious cycle.

I READ A LOT INTO IT
