Sorry I didn't see this sooner. In quick terms....a Russian Thor basically. I was creating a Russian team and based him on a character in Slavic mythology that has the same name.

He is kind of an amalgam of a lot of other popular deities we know from Marvel comics. I basically transferred his legend into his powers. He is an avatar of war, so I gave him (but didn't finish drawing it, look at the right hand, its blocked out to be holding a weapon but whoops!) what looks like a giant spearhead that can morph into any weapon of his choice. Legend indicates he has four heads so he could see everywhere at the same time. I gave him the same version of Cosmic Awareness that Hiemdall possesses. Super strong, and physically enduring (Thing level) and fast (about 50 mph top speed). A Battle sense born out of his cosmic awareness. A horn that calls fire from the heavens (like Thor's thunder), oh....and he rides a giant Boar or Bear depending on which you like better.

Good question. I would assume a grizzled war veteren who has already had enough of your crap before you even speak to him. The curse of his power to see all planes of existence means he not only is a strategic genius ( no time for levity) but also sees the after effects and suffering that his actions cause. He could be a sociopath with no remorse or a guarded soldier suffering from a case of constant PTSD. People would call him anxious and paranoid, he prefers the term prepared. Probably a negative guy overall, but very loyal to those who are loyal to him.

Not as many as you think. Although he can see everywhere, if it doesn't directly affect him or his homeland, then he probably doesn't pay it any mind. I assume he has his share of adventures tho.

Absolutely. Think about Ares who rides a Bear. He will kill.

Definitely the tank of a group. Yeah, hes definitely the guy who steps up to the Hulk or the guy who sacrifices while everyone else regroups. Not intimidated, has no problem fighting anyone. He would probably attack Galactus before being stepped on.

No. Not really. I am from America and he was part of a project to interpret heroes from other cultures without the use of horrible stereotypes. So I look at the mythology and folk stories of the regions that I am trying to create heroes for. I created a British group called The Brilliant United. I did mix some on the nose characters like Union Jack Aces (character wrapped in Great Britains flag) with others like Paige Syxx (a play on the popular British Page 6 girl.). So Svetovid wasn't really one of my main characters. He is more of an adversary/ally character.I have stronger characters and more powerful characters....but only one who rides a Bear!
