Description
My nooblet hunter, Phyra.The necklace is cockeyed. Woe face. It was another direct-to-tablet piece. I figured since I have a lot of problems drawing directly to tablet, the only way to get better is to force myself to do practice-doodles. So. Just doing random WoW characters of both my own and friends for the hell of it.
Mind the armor. I hate armor. Especially drawing armor with tablets.

As far as tips go, it all depends on what you're looking to do. Are you a digital media person or traditional? Are you looking with linework help, inking, or coloring?

I have psp 9 and getting a new tablet, and I also do traditional colored pencil. I'm looking to do more of both however, and any tips with both

The best I can suggest is look at the tutorials (listed a bunch in my recent journal post 
As far as linework, drawing from life will really help you get a feel for dimension -- and drawing from life (people) will give you a great understanding of anatomy and motion/dynamics. It's rather difficult to 'teach' through the net without tutorials, but luckily DA has a section just for tutorials/resources and should help you with a lot by searching

I play on Ysera, and I play both Horde and Alliance and raid on both sides as both an end game raider for one alt, and a casual raider for the other (opposite sides)

Took me...A week and a half. Dailies and eggs, every single day. Plus, the server was crawling with other people farming for one. Eggs were few and far between, but I still made it.
But -so- worth it. =3

Well, I like it. 
I think someone said somewhere that if the tablet's bugging you, putting a piece of paper over it helps. Gives it a feel more like drawing on paper, and doesn't keep the pen from "reading" the tablet. I haven't tried it personally though.

And it isn't so much slipping, but having problems with my line weight/curved lines. I don't have a lot of control in my wrists due chronic tendonitus. It's one reason I don't traditionally ink anymore either. I end up snapping the tips of my microns because I get too heavy handed for the nibs. :/
But any suggestions to help me control line weight and curved lines, I'd be so grateful for!

Don't have any advice for that. 
Though maybe if your tendency is to be heavy, try really hard to be extra light?

It's hard to get used to the tablet at first, it doesn't offer the same resistance a pencil on paper does, so the lines never come out as even. But in time it's second nature.
And... pfft, alliance. Horde ftw!
