Description Steven Universe: War For Glory 5

BY PETER A. LOCKE

Time for Connie seemed to be slowed down as Steven walked away from her. Connie couldn’t help but cry to the thought of Steven, possibly dying in the process of getting stronger. It tore her heart even more that his chances of falling in the final battle, was high. A wrinkled old hand patted Connie on the back.

“Do not worry, my sweety. Your Steven will come out victorious. He’ll find a way, like he always does.”

Connie felt at ease after receiving these words from her grandmother. Connie wiped her tears away and glanced over to Steven, but he was long gone.

“You’re right grandmother, Steven can do this.” Connie’s sorrow, turned into happiness.

Steven was walking along the docks, hands in pocket, watching the businesses close for the night. He was lured in by a soothing and familiar smell of French fries. He had arrived to his favorite restaurant, Beach Citywalk Fries. The window was closed, he stared at the sign and chuckled.

He turned around and a voice from the shack could be barely heard, muffled, yet familiar. The window opened and Steven’s eyes gawked. PeeDee, his best friend, stuck his head out the window and flagged Steven down.

“Hey! Steven! Your dad told me everything!” PeeDee gave a concerned looked.

“Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine.” Steven gave a wide smiled and a thumbs up.

“No you won’t.” Said PeeDee.

“Wha- What?” Steven was confused.

“NOT WITHOUT  HAVING SOME FRY BITS BEFORE YOU GO!!” PeeDee pulled out a serving of fry bits and shook it around. Steven ran over and took them.

“AWWW YEAH!! FRY BITS!!! You’re the best PeeDee!” Steven scarfed down the fry bits.

“Steven, best of luck out there.” PeeDee clenched his fist and pointed it at Steven. Steven and PeeDee’s fist collided in ultimate friendship.

Steven waved goodbye and began to head home, for it was time to go.

PeeDee closed the window and lifted the full garbage bag out of the trashcan. He walked out and deposed of the trashed. He looked over in the alley way and saw eye’s glowing in the shadows. He rubbed his eyes and looked again. The eyes were gone.

He shrugged it off and went back inside.

Meanwhile.

Disco walked into the gravesite of the fallen Korean Soldiers. He tipped his hat at everyone he passed by. He kneeled before a tomb with very little flowers on it. It was but a small bouquet, with white lilies. Disco brought the same. He placed it on the tomb stone.

“You were a great afro partner in the war, Pin.” Disco bowed and spun around and pointed his finger in the air. “OW!!”

“I DEDICATE THIS SONG…. TO YOU!!!!” Disco danced around Pin’s grave, to bring joy to the spirits around him.

The next day.

Disco was following Frisky Fox out of the Whitehouse.

“STOP FOLLOWING ME LOSER!” Shouted Frisky Fox.

“Wait! You can’t go out alone! It’s too dangerous with all what’s going on!” Disco proceeded to follow her.

“Fine! Sheesh! You can come! But don’t come complaining to me when I forget you’re even there.” Frisky Fox scoffed.

“So, we heading towards the next mission?” Disco hovered over Frisky Fox’s shoulder and tried to peak at the paper’s she was looking at.

She put the papers away. “Shut up. Just follow me.”

“What’s the next mission?” Disco smiled widely.

“Ugh, just fine... you can come..” Frisky Fox whistled for a cab. Both Frisky Fox and Disco got into the cab and headed to the airport.

"Hmmm" Disco hmmed "I wonder who is truly behind ALL of this. I could only guess the Illuminati" Disco joked making Frisky Fox roll her eyes.

Speedwagon sat in his lugcirious chair in his oval office. Across his desk sat Jerry the head of the FBI and the CIA.
There were crunchy sounds bothering Speedwagon's ears but he spoke anyways.

"The last fragment of the old Communist Empire is finally gone."

"Thanks to you." Said Jerry. "What are your plans now?"

"I will need Disco and Steven back. It is time Garry."

"Jerry." said Jerry.

"Yes, whatever. It is time for greater things now. I have come very far now and have removed all my enimies. There is only one foe that remains in my way now."

Catter Day walked into the oval office with a silver platter but Jerry spoke anyway.
"And who would that be?"

Speedwagon folded his hands. "Iran."

"What about Former President Tucker's Assassin?" asked Jerry

Catter Day removed the platter top and showed Speedwagon a delicous ice cream dish. "The vanila is crafted from the snow of the Himalayas, as you requested, Speedwagon." Said Catter Day humbly.

Speedwagon knocked the tray on the ground. "That's President Speedwagon to you, Catter Day! And besides, I asked for an Ice Cream Sunday. That was clearly an Ice Cream Saturday!"

"But."

"Get out now!" Shouted Speedwagon.

Catter Day ran out with tears in his eyes.

"You're a stern leader, Mr. President." Said Jerry.
"But now we should discuss what you want done with Iran's lead...Ali Khamenei the Mad."

"I will wait for Disco and Speedwagon to return." Said a calming downward Speedwagon.

"Very good sir." Jerry lifted up a colorful bag and smiled, "Dorito?"

Steven arrived back home, he went inside and glanced at pictures of Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst… and his mother.

He inhaled and gave a thumbs up at the pictures.

“I promise you, I’ll seek my revenge so you all can rest easy.” Steven walked outside. His father was sitting in the back of his van, on the beach, unloading a large crystal.

“What’s that?” Steven poked it.

“This, is your mother’s secret secret hideout, not even pearl knew of.” Greg placed it on the ground.

“How do I get inside?” Steven poked it again.

“Good question…” Greg scratched his chin.

“WAIT! I know!” Steven took off his shirt to reveal his Gem on his abdomen. He placed his stomach against the crystal and it began to glow. Before he knew it, there was a great big flash and Steven disappeared from the beach.

He arrived in a flower field, filled with roses of all colors. There was a path leading to a large medal door. Hid had chains keeping it sealed. There was a lock in the middle of the door. Steven touched the lock and it opened. Upon opening it, a large tentacle grabbed Steven and threw him across the field. He landed in a thorny bush. Steven leaped up and grabbed the tentacle. He pulled it and a large tentacle demon came out.

The demon swung with all his might at Steven. Steven dodged all his attacks with ease. He punched the demon’s forehead and caved his skull in. He wrapped the tentacles in a pretzel knot.

A light shined from the entrance of the door. Steven rushed in the door with eagerness. He entered the room. His vision slowly began to fade, his body felt heavy, he was unable to move. He collapsed and passed out.
