How long has it been since my last submission? The answer, of course, is too long. Anyway, this is my character Byron, striking a pose as a scarlet-haired kabuki actor. The drawing was inspired in part by Kabuki Warriors, an early Xbox fighting game that's so bad it's good. It's a little like Samurai Shodown, except you spend as much time showing off to an unseen audience as you do swinging a blade. I can see what they were meaning to do with the game, but with so few characters and attacks available, it's hard to appreciate the oddball approach to the genre.
