Okay folks, last night in a bid to occupy my mind I rented V for Vendetta..........I kinda liked it
I fell completely for V's voice, god it's sexy, didn't even realise it was Hugo Weaving (never looked at the cover properly!) til I looked at the making of feature. Was sceptical of the mask when I saw the trailer wondering how on earth I could relate to this character, it's a quite disturbing mask but boy did my imagination see right past it! Not to Hugo mind, but to some other sexier mystery man. I can't get over that voice.I sketched this on pink sugar paper and coloured loosely in PS
And I have to say, kudos for the fantastic use of the word 'bollocks'!

i absolutely loved v for vendetta...and i couldn't agree with you more about the voice - *melts* There's just something about a man in a mask that's just sexy! Theren't aren't many V fanarts here on DA...but of the very few there are i have to say this is one of the best i've seen! beautiful!

Excellent job with the artwork. You kept to the style of the movie, without completely plagiarizing the design...again, very good work.

thank you, the main thing I did that is slightly different is the design for the mustache, I went less blocky and more swirly with it.

the brush style you used works very well; that, and V looks a bit more masculine without blushing cheeks

haha, I did put them in but then took the opacity on that layer waaaay down so that there's just a hint of a blush, just didn't suit the pic.

Personally I find Hugo weaving's voice annoying.
he always sounds like Agent Smith.
