Description
Since Alex got rid of Yuki’s mother’s cobra staff. He thought that he should have something that would have been better than a reminder of his cruel mother in anyway possible. He thought about it one day and thought that the right moment to give it to him was when he thought Yuki had earned it and understood why he was given it.
It would have been during his training once when he truly learned how to be a true jungle boy like him. It was when Yuki truly would have been at a similar level to him in surviving the jungle from locating fruits and of course fast ways of him getting around from using the trees and vines like him. Of course he sort of used him a bit too just to get something he could bring back for him and Alice together. Yuki didn’t mind it as it was technically away for him and Alex to bond as master and student.
after a tough day picking around for some fruits like bananas and some others they could gathered. Alex had told Yuki to come before him as he had something to give him. It was a necklace made from a special ore that was made from another tribe. It was shaped like a tooth, but wasn’t the real thing since getting a tooth out from a wild animal was no easy task or a joke.
==========
Yuki: your actual giving this thing to me?
Alex: I just feel like you may need something to remember us by if anything were to ever happen to us. After all doesn’t hurt to have something to remember us by or to remind you about what you are and such.
Yuki: I actually like it. But why not give me something like the keyblade though?
Alex: first off I can’t since it came to me once and is apart of me. Second it or one has to choose you, and these things are picky about who uses them. I had it since I first fought against the black quasar pirates. It came to me when I was surrounded and almost captured by them. This one chose me because of my ability to keep on fighting no matter what.
Yuki: really? Shoot that sure bites. Really thought I could have something as shiny as that one.
Alex: you should have seen me when I use to have a spear that I made. Besides there’s more to inheriting something or anything from anyone. Like that necklace there. Or even that piece of cloth that you always wear. Your dad gave it to you just to cover yourself maybe, but you always wear and hold onto it because it was the only thing that he could leave you. It must mean something despite how little it may seem.
Yuki: my dad didn’t had much. No jewelry or anything else he could pass down to me. This loincloth that you see was a piece of cloth yes, but I remember when he gave it to me when I was still small. It was a cold night, and I didn’t even had a blanket or anything to keep me warm. He took an old piece of cloth that he found and gave it to me. Couldn’t have just had me naked. Of course I kept it to remember how much he did cared about me. Despite how the both of us were forced to be with such a cruel person like my mother.
Alex: I’m sure he would have wanted you to have a better life instead of the one you had with her. I don’t think he’d be happy to see you with a dark contract burning in your heart because of her either. I know if my dad was still around, he would have wanted me and my baby sister to have had a more different life than what we have right now.
Yuki: I just wish my mother didn’t had to make him suffer in front of me. Why of all people did she had to be my mother? Did she even wanted me to begin with?
Alex: not sure if she intended to, but we all have a purpose in life. And it’s up to you to find it. I may have gotten you out of that island and gave you a new home and a new life, but it’s up to you to make the most of it. And what you do with it may lead you onto something bigger than what you might imagine. I mean I had faced an entire crew of space pirates, faced against Damian twice and his bounty hunter, also saved someone else from marrying a god on their 20th birthday. Not to mention me having to stop your mom and finding the perfect someone in my life for once. Who knows what’ll happen in your life and where it’ll lead you to.
Yuki: if you say so. Hope whatever adventure comes to me won’t be as whacky as the ones you had. Especially for a jungle boy too none the less.
Alex: you should try it when facing a giant ape, snakes, spiders, or even going for a wrestling match against chief Zabu. Man was he really tough for the one who calls himself king of the jungle.
Yuki: but I thought you were it?
Alex: it’s complicated.
Yuki: just one thing before I go off. Whatever happened to my mothers staffs? Not that I’d be interested in having, but just curious as to what might have happened to them?
Alex: I don’t think we’ll be seeing them anytime soon.

with their last words spoken to each. Yuki had placed the necklace around his neck as something to remember Alex by whenever he’s on his own and left. Whatever happened to his mother’s staffs was better lost and never found. After all he doesn’t have any pleasant memories with his mother, but Alex on the other hand was at least acceptable since he was the one who freed him of her.
he couldn’t be more happier to have been given something that he could keep. Although it was the second thing he was given other than his loincloth that he was given by his father. Yuki would remember the necklace as a reminder that he had a teacher, and someone he could also call both a hero, and somewhat a dad/older brother in away.
but as he left. He couldn’t help but notice some smoke coming from above. It was as if someone had been cooking something as he could smell something being roasted. Whoever was making a nice barbecue in the wild might be one step closer to starting a forest fire. This was something that he believed would be able to handle on his own. Might be something that he could tell his teacher about as he goes on his own to investigate whatever was burning.
