At first, I really didn't have a clue what t make of it, the preview image looks like a true photograph, but a closer look brought the sky to my attention, it has a rather good water-paint effect to it, which, of course, cannot be possible in reality, but after seeing the buildings I was confused, it's nearly impossible to draw that precise and with such amazing detail. The autumn tree and the lighthouse brought me back to the photograph idea, maybe it is a photo after all, with a manipulated sky. But, after seeing the category 3-dimensional art I was shocked, I had to believe it you're a truly amazing artist who knows what he's doing, thank you for letting me see this marvel of 3D art

Thank you so much for this nice comment. To be truthful when I first did this piece I had a ship in the distance but didn't care for it and left it out. I wasn't sure if anyone would care for it but I was and I'm still amazied how people like it. I'm glad you liked it.

the artpiece of fine how it is right now . I've seen it this way first, and a ship added to it would now look a bit wrong, maybe a bit too much even, but it doesn't matter, you made it look pretty this way

Thank you for the comment. I tried a ship with it at first drafting but like you said it was to much and I left it out.

Some of your work wouldn't be amiss if it were part of some major adventure game title, but this piece is so natural looking it could have been painted, though I doubt anyone could capture what is in this lovely work.

That sky is so amazing, and the way that tree just juts out from behind, or rather stands its ground in front of that shed. It just looks really solid and so believable.

The textures on the stonework and darkened colours on the other buildings too are just right. I think the darkness lends well to the mood of the scene.

I think it was the tree and water scene that first drew my eye to this piece, mainly because the water is without fault; it's simply perfect.

This is stunning, so serene, and filled with beautiful tones and flow, how lovely.

I would like to feature this on Deviously Artisitic. [link]

Not owned or run by deviantART, but a place to give deviants more exposure.

Let me know.

I saw this in the "Unburied Treasures" feature [link] and had to come see it in full view. Gorgeous! The amount of texture and detail is stunning. I want to step into the painting.

This is definitely going in my virtual lighthouse collection, in my favs gallery.
