Description Does this go into the technical drawings bit? Or still life? Or something else. Je ne sais pas!

Anyway, it's been a while since I did one of these ballpoint drawings. They're so much fun and really interesting to do. This one is, as you can probably/hopefully tell, a cutaway of the human heart and part of the lungs.
For anyone interested, the heart strings are bits that look like melted cheese. Those are the bits that connect the wall of the heart to the valves and the valves are the bits that we hear when we listen to the heart beating. So when you're pulling on my heart strings, you're actually pulling my atrio-ventricular valves opening and preventing my heart from pumping blood around my body properly The two ventricles contain the chordae tendineae (melted cheese) which are connected to the valve flaps. Back in the days of Leonardo Da Vinci, it was thought that blood actually seeped across the central septum from one side of the heart to the other. However, if that happens, you'll probably die :S
Isn't biology fun?

I never really liked biology (because we always had to learn crap things)
Too bad i did learn very little about human anatomy. (ver little equals nothing)

This deviation is 5 stars awesome :>

Haha well you have to wait till biology in your last two years of school. Then it gets interesting because you learn all about the human body Before that you learn about saving the environment and other incredibly boring things x)
Thank you though

Fair enough. It's certainly not everyone's cup of tea. Plus we do still learn about saving the environment!
