One of my oc's from an idea for a story I've been writing and rewriting since I was in middle school (and I should add I'm in college now...) So far nothing has taken tangible form that is really worthy of publication.
Any way this is Harriet. She should have a last name but I'm not very creative with last names and I usually end up using neighbors' or my mother's maiden name...
I also have a hard time deciding just who exactly she is. I know she is a unique person with a unique power that will never change, but the question is from where and who that power was obtained. Did it come from a long line of humans determined to protect their non-human counterparts? Or is she herself not a human having power stemming from a more powerful individual among the non-humans. How does her ability and her personality affect how she is received by those she protects? I also have to ask myself is this a romance story or do I want it to be more family based? Who or what the conflict is man? nature? non-human? self? Happy ending or sad?
I guess I have a lot to figure out..
