Description
This is my second attempt to portray characters from the stories of H.P. Lovecraft. My first set were fairly low-end.
This is a typical citizen of the town of Innsmouth from the story,"The Shadow over Innsmouth." [link]
These and the rest were done with watercolour pencils.

That's right, how can anyone NOT be happy in Innsmouth?
Near immortality, the ability to live underwater indefinitely, the ability to destroy all human civilization if they so chose...
The only downside would be eventually having to return to the Deep Ones, and LOOKING like a Deep One...
I wonder what the US Army did to the citizens of Innsmouth they interned? Death or scientific experimentation?

Well, you captured the wide mouth and bugged out eyes, I also see the gills nicely lol.
