This shall be the last photograph that I will be uploading that is from this series of mums and babies.

(STORY ONE) Here is this lovely lady's story:
Pregnancy for me has been the most challenging adventure I have embarked upon thus far in my life. It has been both miraculous and awe-inspiring, but also terrifying and surprisingly much harder than I could ever have imagined. My journey toward motherhood has been full of beautiful moments, scary moments, overwhelming moments, and magical moments; but the one over-riding and never-changing feeling has been the deep and indefinable love that has developed for my little girl. I have become so in tune with the little person growing inside me, that she feels as real as any other person in my world, even though I have never seen, smelt, touched or held her. Yet in spite of this, as time has progressed, there have been periods of time when giving up myself has been the hardest thing I have ever done. From riotous moods, to weight gain and swelling feet, to eating even if I’m not hungry because it is what she needs, to sacrificing my size 30 body and size 34 bust and developing the figure of a woman carrying a baby, and so much more – all to become no longer just me, but the mother of a little girl. The incredible thing though, is through it all and in spite of it all, it has remained a magical, beautiful, humbling, scary and awe-inspiring adventure, with the promise of my little blessing from above being in my arms at the end.

Unfortunately there is one more picture that would have completed the series, but due to circumstances none of those may go on any online site. But as the ladies story is very special still, I decided to share her story.

(STORY TWO) So here is the Carolien's wonderful story about her and her gorgeous daughter:
Having a daughter certainly changed my life for the better, who would’ve ever imagined that I would have to play with dollies again, or even go for a rainbow coloured make-up session with a three-year old behind the pallet of obviously matching eye-shadow (PS: eye-shadow is not only intended for eyes….) and then having a picnic under the dining room table with a very little (empty) teapot – imaginary grapes, scones, guests as well as teddy bears.
But with all fun and games apart, this change came with its own challenges. Challenges that may seem so simple and insignificant to anybody else, but at the end of the day, you are responsible for this little person’s life, protecting and nurturing it in the best ways possible. This has been the biggest challenge of my life and by far, the best.

I hope you guys do read these two stories in todays piece, because they are truly lovely stories!
