Can I just give you a word of advice? Cuz you seem bummed out about not being able to draw stuff.
Don't think that it's impossible to draw things other than chibis in dA Muro. I thought that once, but then one day, I had a lot of time on my hands so I decided to try and create something more complicated. It took a long while, but it turned out better than I thought it would be. Afterwards, I decided to take my sweet time with other Muro drawings (I have a Mac Book, so my options for computer drawing are quite limited), and I've gotten some pretty surprising results.
[link] This is just an example of what I've done in the past. The total time that it took me to draw this was...I'd say around 9 hours, more or less.
Then again, I find it most helpful when you have a laptop mouse to fiddle around with instead of a standard clickie mouse...

True. Like I mentioned earlier, I have a Mac Book, so I probably can't even get Sketchbook Pro, much less use it professionally...
What is the program like? Are you able to draw in layers, or is it like an actual sketchbook? I'm curious now that you've told me this.

It does have layers, but the free version only has 5 layers, while if you got the full version you would get unlimited layers. It's easy to work with, you can shade and everything.
