well i think its just as complicated as photoshop,but i think SAI is much simpler and less to learn,still for me theres still a lot to learn from SAI but not as much as i had to learn from PS,im still learning to use both of them

you can download SAI from here [link] it helps you ink and colour your sketches, its a japanese colouring programe.
PS is Adobe Photoshop, that one you cant download but you have to buy, my one is not original, it helps painting and create effects like bright lights or making designs.

Wow- the anatomy of this picture is amazing-
I don't use SAI- but perhaps if you further explain your question- I'd be able to help? I use photoshop and opencanvas. ;u;

hmm i mean that i cant draw backgrounds because when i colour, the brush i use give a transparent effect on the colours,that means when i colour, the background colour blends with the front layer
thanks for the comment btw

No problem- I've had this problem before. I would suggest perhaps using a wand-type tool to select all the blank space, and then inversing it- so its selecting everything you've drawn. Then making a new layer below the picture (in front of the background), and filling it completely with just white. That way when you color underneath it, anything there won't show since it's being covered up. Sometimes- though this method ends up making the white edges really rough and somewhat visible along the edges, and so i tend to take a soft brush to the edges of the white, so you can't see it.
I hope some of that made sense. >u<
