This is my second digital art. I didn't keep track of time, but it was probably well over an hour, so not that long.

It's the eye of one of my characters, Violetta, a violet colored dragon, who I based off the book series Inheritance. She has a rainbow mane of fur going from her head to just past the base of the tail, also up the back of her forelegs and below her chest between her forelegs, and on the tip of her tail. She has a gold band around each horn, dark violet claws and horns, and her wing tissue is lavender. She has gold circles from her ears to the base of her neck, also on either side of her ribs, on the outside of her hind legs (only the haunches), on the outside of her forelegs (all the way down), from the base of her tail on either side down to where the fur ends, and by the main wing claws.

Her rider is Ominotago, an elf who's name is Native American meaning beautiful voice. She has dark brown hair in a braid down to her waist and green eyes.

And the sword is Arvindr, actually a sword from the books, meaning Wind Eagle in the ancient language (again, from the books). Arvindr is violet with a gold guard and grip. The pommel is an amythest.

I may draw them together sometime.
