I dropped out of college and only work 15 hrs a week at my job. So.
TON OF FREE TIME.
But I"m making the best use of it.
I just actually drew more of that sorta realistic style! I'm pretty rusty though after just doing cartoons for about a year. xD
my next weeks sketch dump will probably have a lot more of that style. [:

Love the pose sketches at the bottom! I need to do this like sketch out every single fully tought out idea I have in my head (not many actually) hope to see some more cool stuff like this Xander, I like it when artists also post their sketch dumps, really helps think of new stuff or get how you create your drawings, hope your Max Parish project is also coming along!

Posting all of what you make, makes you feel pretty accomplished and then keeps you motivated to keep drawing even more. I'd definitely recommend it!
Not to mention it helps you improve IMMENSELY fast.
It's just been a week so far but gesture drawings, and posing, and already so much easier.

My trick is I made this daily list of shit to do.
1 comic panel
10 gesture drawings
etc. etc. and I put a lot on it.
So everyday I wake up, and I'm like. Shit, how am I gonna get this all done today, but somehow I always manage.
Before, basically all of my life before, I'd subconsciously think I deserved a day off from drawing, and that one day off kept continuing until it was a week or so.
But NOW, not a days gone by that I dont take advantage of it, and, it's feels friggin' awesome.

Hmmm, I never thought of giving myself assignments for the day.
I probably should start doing that.
Luckily I've drawn for a few hours a day at least. It just always seems to be on one specific project each day.
