this is a scene from Kathryn lasky's book The Wolves Of The Beyond number four Frost Wolf.this is where they catch the false prophet *spoiler*
the characters are, the big silver guy growling-Faolan,a wolf of the Watch,the brown-and-white female next to him with one eye is Edme,also a wolf of the Watch, The gray-and-white guy on his back in the snow is Liam MacDuncan,the new leader of the MacDuncan clan, The dark brown female behind Faolan with green eye and a yellow eye is the Sark of the Slough, and the masked owl attacking Liam is Gwynneth, a rough smith.
