A couple of people had seen that drawing from forever ago of Rarity getting Arcee's measurements for a dress and I was planning on saving that for the comic but I figured I'd post a rough draft dress or something as a sorry for not having pages up. I had planned on having them up yesterday but anytime I make plans my family decides to get in the way or something pops up.

Other people on that submission were saying there's no possible way Rarity could make a dress that would suit Arcee because she's too pointy and she won't be able to kick ass with it. Thing is, fellas, you're not supposed to kick ass in a dress. Dresses were never designed for combat. But I was aware of her pointy knees and thought "Well, high-lows look pretty" so I designed her in those so she would be able to bend her legs. The upper part of the dress does not exist to cover what we would consider her boobs because that would have to stretch around to that pointed part underneath the armpit and that would just look funny, so Rarity just decided that a sheeted shawl would look fine and give the illusion of a full dress, placing the top end of the dress beneath the chassis so it won't look strange all crinkled up. There's a long zipper in the back to widen out the fabric so she can slip into it and the belt gets clasped together last to hold it in place. There's also the trick of double-sided tape along the inside of the top of the dress so it doesn't run down.

AND NO SHE CANNOT TRANSFORM IN THAT. My head canon for Cybertronian clothing of any kind is that it's made of shiftable, flexible fabric, and it's very expensive stuff so that's why you don't see a lot of people wearing it. Dresses alone in the Cybertornian world are most likely hard to make so it's got a high price tag, but imagine how much it would have to cost for a dress that can shift according to your transformation. Therefore I believe only the high rollers and big wigs of Cybertron can afford dresses. (Everyone else just uses the alternative and put on gloss or get a new paint job.)

But this is organic fabric, so she can't transform without ripping it all apart.

Probably the hardest part of getting the outfit on were the gloves. Rarity had to widen those out some and use stretch fabric.

But for a pony who has designed clothes for four-legged people her entire life, you have to admit she did a great job.
