hey FrostTheHobidon are you going to answer my question about what you thought about hurricane360 after cancelling sonic gx because of his hatred on the sonic series and the movie despite its good reputation?
ive saw that hes made fun of the series at times whenever hes livestreaming the sonic games while giving sonic the name "Gonads The Hedgehog" and even called me out on twitter for bringing up sonic gx when i retweeted the japanease version of the sonic x intro while hiding my comments about the show on deviantart and i was wondering how you feel about this after he cancelled the series to become a nintendo youtuber

originally he gave no context for why he hated the sonic franchise as he listed on deviantart that no one should ask him about sonic gx while calling sonic a "deceased" character and he hid both of my comments when i was talking to 2 people about PARTS of sonic gx (like some of the non sonic characters and backgrounds used in some episodes) and not the entire show
but according to a tweet i was given by him and some of his friends when i retweeted crimson midnights tweet about the japanese sonic x intro (which was used as an opening theme for the fanseries alongside the satam theme) it was explained that the reason why he started hating the sonic series was because according to him. the series starting going downhill with sega started to release some of the weaker games in the series (and im assuming that this started with sonic 3d blast, sonic shuffle or shadow the hedgehog as those are implied to be some of the weakest games in the series) and has started to become aware about how toxic the sonic fanbase can be at times as some of his interactions with the fanbase has caused him to hate the sonic series (even when it improves with things like sonic mania, the archie comics reboot, idw and the sonic boom show as examples. but he most likely ignored them to talk about the games) and deleted EVERYTHING sonic related on his channel while cancelling his sonic gx fanseries on a cliffhanger with NO resolutions as hes deleted all the episodes on youtube where they are reuploaded and archived by emerly kennedy on youtube and he has rebooted his entire channel to be a nintendo themed gaming channel
another reason why he cancelled sonic gx is because of the series not aging well with the show having things like typos now and then in the series and refused to let anyone continue the series after 13 episodes. i do understand why sonic gx could be dated nowadays as young knuckles has his ova design instead of his design from sonic underground, some assets from franchises unrelated to sonic are used like the rt-55j from megaman x1 being used as an e series robot by eggman and the background used for the inside of eggmans airship base (which was also used for the background of the death egg in sonics flashback in smbz when metal sonic is fusing with silver sonic 1, 2 and roboticized sonic from the old universe to become turbo mecha sonic) is the mission select background from megaman x4
and while he stopped making sonic related videos on the channel, he still makes sonic videos once in a while but only videos where he treats the series like its a joke while playing the games in a vain similar to the gamegrumps (as they have kept mocking the sonic series in their playthroughs to the point where it got more annoying then funny at times)
1. some of his sonic thumbnails shows a random parody of the series with the thumbnail for part 1 of his sonic mania playthrough showing sonic strangling tails while one of his thumbnails for his sonic adventure playthrough shows an image of tails brutally beaten up. these thumbnails make no sense as this would imply that sonic is abusing tails and he would never hurt him like that
2. the names of his sonic mania plus videos are all renamed versions of the zones in sonic mania (like green hill is called "Green Hell" for example and yet green hill zone isnt a bad level. i can see why the fanbase is getting tired of seeing green hill zone, but its still not a bad level. but screw oil ocean zone in sonic mania still)
3. he made an animation where sonic calls tails stupid and the video isnt really funny at all as sonic would never call his best friend an idiot, i can see sonics fleetway counterpart calling tails stupid. but not his games counterpart
4. he still thinks that the sonic movie is bad even after sonic was given a redesign in the second trailer to match his game counterpart and wont even give the movie another chance while saying that eggman doesnt even resemble his game counterpart, granted while eggman doesnt exactly look like his game counterpart in the movie until the end where hes on the mushroom planet, jim carrey still did a good job as eggman. and eggman having a diffrent design from his game counterpart is normal at this point as hes looked diffrent in the classic series, aosth, satam and sonic underground, the fleetway comics and sonic boom and i dont see a problem with how jim carrey looks as eggman in the movie. and speaking of the sonic movie
5. after his reaction to the first sonic movie trailer, he made another animation where pikachu taunts sonic because of the first trailer on the movie while claiming that "detective pikachu is better then gonads the hedgehog! lol" and this short is completely dated now as the sonic movie has became a success at the boxoffice before the coronavirus took effect
6. in some of his sonic playthroughs and livestreams, he always tends to flanderize the sonic characters to the point where they come across as inaccurate to their game counterparts for the shake of a joke thats not really funny as they would never act like this
he gives sonic the name "Gonads The Hedgehog" as he portrays him as an annoying version of his counterparts from the dic sonic shows who treats tails like shit
tails is treated like hes a victim of sonics abuse as shown in some of the thumbnails
knuckles is portrayed as a black person from the hood (im not offending anyone by saying this by the way, im just talking about how hurricane sees knuckles) simply because of his character theme and the music that plays in his levels in sonic adventure 2
shadow is portrayed like he has always been edgy in the entire series when shadow isnt always like this while making "Ow The Edge" jokes whenever shadow shows up in the playthroughs
and while chris never appears in the games (except for that leapster game for sonic x...and yes. its the same one with "Dr Eggman's Super Sucky Machine") hurricane has given him the tommy wiseau voice which doesnt fit chris at all as chris would still be a kid and he never sounded like tommy when he got older in sonic x
and despite his hatred towards the sonic series, there were some negative parts of the series that i DO agree with him on like sonic 06 impact on the franchise and sonics original design for the movie

yeah FrostTheHobidon and while hurricane isnt bad as a youtuber. its just that his jokes towards the sonic series aren't funny and sometimes he gets too loud in some of his videos to the point where hes annoying to listen to at times and hes actually called me out for constantly bringing up the sonic series to him on livestreams, deviantart (which is why 2 of my comments i sent to him are hidden) and twitter when he wants nothing to do with the series
