Dr. Eggman will always and forever be the true Sonic VillainNOT Black Doom, Iblis, Mephiles the Dark, Solaris, Erazor Djinn, Eggman Nega, Emperor Ix, Dark Gaia, Black Knight, Infinite, the Deadly Six, Scourge, Enerjak, Naugus, Mogul, Finitevus, Lien-Da and any other villains from Archie, IDW, and the Games
Dr. Eggman had his spot taken away from being the Main Villain, IDW Shows that pretty well and the Games are trying to make him the Main villain again ever since the 4kids era took away his spot as main villainΒ

Sonic defeats a dark brotherhood, the deadly six, the hard boiled heavies, an evil genie and a badass enemy in a fairytale. And the cherry of the cake. Sonic defeats Eggman Nega. So eggman isn't at all the true villain. He's Sonic's Enemy NΒ°1. And the NΒ°1 in Spicy Memes

What's wrong with sharing the spotlight? It doesn't have to be exclusively one villain. That'd be boring after a while.

I have no problem with sharing the spotlight, but when you have other Villians who think they can take over the Main spot. Eggman hasn't been the main villain for so long because he gets set aside by this over the top villains, make people forget Eggman is a villain.
This kinda happened more often in the 4kids era of Sonic, where all the characters are voiced by the 4kids cast and it kinda stopped in Black Knight

there nothing and I agree, it was back when Sega don't know what the want Sonic to be back in the 4kids era, trying to make it dark and over top but forgot what made his fun forΒ everyone to enjoy, so they added Villains that are over the top

FrostTheHobidon i think that infinite was more of a supporting villain in sonic forces then a main antagonist despite sega treating him like he is in the trailers

I would agree with the Infinite but they were trying to hard to make him overshadow Eggman's role, but I'm surprised he didn't betray him

yeah FrostTheHobidon and yet after sonic forces was released. we never see infinite ever again as hes never seen nor mentioned in team sonic racing and sega refused to allow ian to use him for the idw comics. but the only time we DO see infinite again was in super smash bros ultimate as a spirit that you fight in the game and thats it
