I don't remember who AM or HAL were, I haven't read the story and I was too young to understand english (or anything written, in fact) when I played the game (hence why it didn't work well for me lol)

I'm a gentleman, sonny, it's my job to detect dirty-mindedness, you inexemplary lower-class peasant. I watched anime all my life to learn how to do that.
Oh well, it is rather violent but not in the slasher movie sense. It's about an omnipotent computer that killed all of humanity except for a handful of people that he keeps on the verge of starvation and hurts their bodies and minds without allowing them to die or take their own lives. Hooray!
Also, how can you be an artist and dislike romanticized concepts?!?1?! That's sort an antithesis, no? I mean romanticized in the artsy sense, not the romance thing, although the two meanings are similar.
