He had grown up protected from the outside world, though he had heard things from his 'brothers' about fights – wars, even – between anything that could fight. Tales of blood and loss tainted his dreams. When he first went out, he found the stories to be true.
There was fighting, death, despair, and so many other things that shouldn't be. He knew he had to stop it.
After talking to many a cat, he discovered one thing they all had in common: a love for catnip. He met Fromage, who he learned he could trust, and agreed to help bring everyone together and stop the inter-species wars. With help fro Fromage and his own brothers, Puppy established a trade, if you will. Cats that don't get in fights are rewarded with catnip for their benevolence.
However, power is corrupt, and, like many before him, Pup got greedy. He turned almost hateful to those who 'defied' him. He got in fights, became cold, scorned his so-called 'loved ones.'
But, there is hope for him. He has calmed considerably since being confronted by his elites.

We must hope he stays calm.
