It was recently revealed that IV got his scar during a duel with Shark's little sister(under orders from Tron)and one of the cards he played caused the building they were in to set on fire,so he grabbed her and ran out as fast as he could,and ended up getting that scar in the proccess.Shark's sister was badly injured.
