A pic of Lilandra, a space emperess from the X-Men comics. She is also Prof X's ex-girlfriend. Also i thought that i wouldn't bother colouring this because i think the colours would ruin the detail.Original Art by Jim Lee

yeah you know that the more practice, the better you get.
I've been hesitant about coloring ever since my Psylocke drawing did not turn out the way I wanted, but now I'm using new coloring methods, a different eraser, and Prismacolor colored pencils. It all makes such a difference! I'm having fun practicing coloring now.

It might be a little while though. I have a couple other projects going on.
When I get a chance, I really like your X-Men blue team pic. I might attempt coloring that one as well.
For now though, I'm working on my "green March" challenge sketch cards (31 green characters by the end of March!) and a couple of contest entries in addition to stuff for work.

I'm actually really out of touch with the comics, last time i bought one was about 1996/97 when all that Onslaught stuff was kicking off. I used to have a huge collection too, but a few years back i decided to sell them all on ebay. Wish i didn't now!

Yet to me you see it's just a load of sqiggles lol, but yes the shadows and shading make my pics look loads better. I just gotta use them on the pics i do of real people. And it looks much better NOT coloured.

Thanks, i'm really pleased with it. I copied a pic of her that wasn't complicated (just her body shape) and then copied the shadows and shading as best as i could. See like i said i can do the shading from comic pics because it's there already for me whereas real people you have to judge it yourself. And your right the shadows make the pics look so much better.
