Description The next in my X-Ladies series: The Amazing and Gorgeous Emma Frost, my fav X-Man

The costume on the left is her original Hellfire club costume back from when she was a villain, it was the 1st outfit i ever saw her in but in the 90s cartoon.
The outfit on the right was worn by her when she first joined the X-Men fully as a member and is from the Grant Morrison New X-Men days. How she fought battles in that thing i'll never know lol and it wasnt very appropriate for teaching kids lol. Hope you like it.

ok this time im going to be abit picky, cos i think everyone needs some criticism every now and then, and i love constructive critics. so i shall start with the costumes, the one on the left i love, the blue and black lines really bring it to life and add depth to the costume whereas the one on the right doesnt have any added lines and therefor looks flat and dare i say it, abit boring. youve shown us how great you can be with the one on the left, thats what i want to see more of, that is the one i love.

and just out of curiosity is she meant to have a bitchy, sour look on the right?

im sorry if this seems like im being too harsh, its really not meant to be bad, im trying to be constructive in a friendly way

Haha don't be daft you can say whatever you want bout my work, just be honest I defo dont mind some critques, its how you learn. It's funny you bring up Emma's right costume because i was going to use the blue like i did on the other but i thought it would ruin it lol cause i was trying to keep it in the cartoony/manga style like the original drawing, i may go back to it and add the blue

Yeah she's meant to look bitchy lol its from when Emma used to be a bitch with everyone enemy and friend alike. I'm glad i managed to pull that off

Never apologise, i truly value your opinions

i think our difference in opinion may be because i go for realism whereas you are a cartoon artist so you know better with your style so if youve already thought about it and decided not to blue it then id say you should stick with your idea.

yes youve pulled off the look well

I do agree though that a little blue (though not as much as the hellfire costume) would have gave the costume abit more depth

Thank you

I still love the Grant morrison costume best. I remember seeing that cover for the first time, and although it was such a simple piece it still grabbed my attention.

Great job on both of these!

Haha me too Seeing a big boobed Emma Frost on a bright pink background with a new, manga inspired x-logo was amazing lol! I do so love Miss Frost Best. X-Man. Ever. (apart from your Jean lol)

Thank you very much Sukh
