Noooo, in fact she doesn't. Gets frustrated with him at times, maybe, but if you notice her relationship with him was one of the most civil out of practically everyone in Wonderland (the only other exception probably being the Cheshire Cat, who also gets on her nerves at times). I've explained this in previous comment conversations, but I don't feel much like repeating myself ATM.

I don't think she holds it against him. The subject gets dropped easily enough. I mean, she sits down with him at the end in the theater and carries on like nothing happened.

Ooh, a short film would be nice! Sort of an epilogue to A:MR. That would make sense.
But yeah, I agree. Carpenter is cute in a way. I know there are some who call him ugly, but I find his look to be more surreal than anything. Sort of pleasantly grotesque, but really he's not unattractive.

He is atractive , but more as you said grotesqulie atractive(not to mention whole game is grotesque so he shuld fit the style)

Oh, does it? Well..... maybe it does.
The Carpenter is pretty fantastic, isn't he? Somewhat ridiculous, but likable! I have to admit when I first played the level I wasn't sure what to expect, but when you meet him you can't help but to fall hard for him.

He did, he did!
And if you notice, out of all the interactions with all the main characters, Alice's with Carpenter was the most easygoing.
There was very little friction between them, the only times I can think of being outside the cemetery when she fusses at him for not upholding his promise to help with the Train problem (which he explains away as having "no choice," saying "one can't always do as one would like," suggesting that he would have liked to help her but circumstances forbade him) and at the show when Walrus crashes on stage and starts eating the Oyster sisters ("Wicked thing! Feasting while Wonderland is destroyed...")
But if you listen her tone is not overtly hateful. Indeed, both times it sounded to me like how one might chide a friend or a child for their bad behavior. And you're right, he did try to explain himself to her! In fact, he was trying to protect the Deluded Depths/Barrel Bottom from the Infernal Train, so in a way he and Alice were working towards the same goal.
Just think about it.

Hey, sorry for barging in on your conversation, hope you don't mind. ^^ I haven't actually played the game yet but I did watch a Let's Play and as soon as Carpenter started waving about with that hammer I fell for him. x') The one thing I reacted the most to, it was right after the show started. Did you notice that he sat down besides Alice and didn't even seem surprised at her being there? He trapped her in that cemetery and now she is in the audience at his show, and he simply sits down and doesn't even raise an eyebrow. o.o And she comments on his show as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

Yeah, I can totally picture that. x'D He didn't exactly look disappointed to take that particular seat, did he?
I'm a little angry at her for interrupting him when they first meet, but he doesn't seem to mind it at all. And he shows temper. With all those nails and that pegleg, I don't blame him. Something must hurt and pain easily makes people grumpy. o.o So I think they both show some extra acceptance regarding the other. If she really didn't like him, she should have objected. Sure, she's teasing him a bit about the show not being ready, but seriously. The tune-deaf music needs assembling? She had plenty to question or complain about! And why would she not try to get on the good side with the octopus? It would be easy for her to complain about Carpenter and maybe the octopus would like her for it. He did call Carpenter a moron.
She had a lot of chances to show dislike for him, but she never really did. Sure, she got angry a couple of times, but I would've been a lot angrier if it were me and I think she overreacted at other things. No, I just can't see any hatred or anything similar.
She almost seems amused by him. ^^'

I always did notice the easy going ways they talk to each other. I like how similar they are to another in goals. If only we could have seen him and walrus too on the train but alas they are like March-hare and Dorm-mouse. I hope we see this character again though.

(Oh good, the comment took! I was a little worried because after I posted that little wall of text it wasn't registering that I had. )

My sister and I jokingly say he actually was on the train all along, he was just needing to be scraped off the front of the engine car... I laugh, then I'm sad because I remember he did it to save Alice, a surprisingly noble act for anyone in Alice's corrupted Wonderland. *masochist*

I doubt there will be another game, unless there was a prequel of some sort. The story was resolved and pretty well explained in the end. But if there was to be another game, the Carpenter would definitely need to be in it! I simply would not be happy if he wasn't, and if he wasn't much the same character as he is in A:MR.
