Description

While Aurora had been away at the Nook to have a chance to socialize, Snow and Inana took the opportunity to quickly switch out the crib in his room for a bed. Though it was true that he could still fit and sleep comfortably, the couple thought it would be a bit more homely for his age, that and the crib would be needed for somebody else.

The two sat and talked upon the small couch they had initially put into their child's room, convenient for situations such as these. When Aurora announced his presence by opening the door to his room, he stood still at this new room addition. He was confused: sure, he'd seen beds before, but he thought that only grownups slept in them, especially ones of the size that this one was in. Compared to him, this bed could easily swallow him in its lilac blankets.

"W-what's the bed for?" He asked, before realizing that his prized stuffed animal was perched upon the covers. "Is... Is this bed mine? But... it doesn't look like mine!" he worryingly exclaimed. Inana walked over to the bed, lifting Aurora off of the ground and placing him next to her. The little wyngling was surprised at how soft it was compared to the crib he used to sleep in.

"Mhmm! It is indeed for you. We decided that you would probably like a bit more space, plus it's a lot nicer than the crib that you had. And anyways... your crib is still here. We needed it for somebody else."

"Why would anyone wanna have my crib when I was using it?" He pondered, tilting his head a bit like a tiny dog.

"Your dadda and I... We had been thinking for some time. We decided that we wanted you to grow up similarly to how we grew up. We want you to have a sibling, somebody who you can play with. We needed your crib for this reason- the little wyngling that will be your little brother or sister will need it!" She explained, placing a hand over her tummy to gesture what she meant.

Aurora was confused. He didn't understand what this meant. "I-is having a 'sibling' a.. A bad thing??" Aurora asked, concerned. Inana have a small chuckle at this.

She placed a hand around Rory's hooded shoulder. "It is the most wonderful experience to have," she calmly said, eyes dreamt at the thought of sharing her experiences with her own child.

Sooo hahahhahhh, if you read the story you probably have a good idea of what's happening.

(Tl;dr: more kids)

Don't mind the weird colors haha. I wanted to try something a bit interesting with a limited palette (allowed myself to use gradients). I had a lot of fun with it! Wanted to get back into the swing of softer shading and practice some more with it.

Super sorry if there's some weird grammar/spelling errors in the story, had to do half of this on mobile and my autocorrect isn't trained well lmao
